As promised, the very last information for the weekend on the mode and links to the framework match schedule. First of all: Please remember to wear shin guards! We also look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in the ‘Wunderbar’ on Friday evening for the draw at 9pm.
All games will last 10 minutes. The first games in the Öjendorf Sports Park will kick off on Saturday at 10am .
- We will play a group stage in three groups of five teams, so each team will play four games. After that, we will divide into three smaller tournaments.
- The first and second-placed teams and the two best third-placed teams in the group will play in the ‘Gold Tournament’ for places 1 to 8.
- The other third-placed team and the three fourth-placed teams in the group play in the ‘Silver Tournament’ for places 9 to 12
- The teams in fifth place in the group play in the ‘Bronze Tournament’ (two more games per team) for places 13 to 15.
Sounds a bit complicated, but the advantage is that each team is guaranteed at least 60 minutes of playing time. And no one is left without a fight after the group stage.

Our guest at the award ceremony in the town hall at 18:30 is one of Germany’s most renowned documentary filmmakers: Manfred Oldenburg made the much-acclaimed documentary „The Last Taboo ’ about homosexuality in professional football, which was released on Amazon in February. We look forward to his words when he presents the trophies. Maybe you’ll even manage to see the film before then. Absolutely recommended!
